Universal has taken the Chris Pratt led movie, Cowboy Ninja Viking, off its release schedule and has no date for being released. The movie was originally scheduled to release on June 28, 2019.

Are you ready kids? Because there’s a new SpongeBob movie on the way. Paramount moved it’s third SpongeBob movie titled It’s A Wonderful Sponge two weeks up from July 31, 2020, to July 17, 2020. Tim Hill, who’s written for the past two SpongeBob movies, will be writing and directing this one.

Illumination just released a new trailer for their upcoming animated film, The Grinch. The movie is based on the classic Dr. Suess book “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” The trailer finally shows us some voice work from Benedict Cumberbatch, which unsurprisingly seems a little out of place but it feels like this in every Illumination movie. The movie also shows us the mean spirit personality of the character, along with a forced in pop song and a new rendition of the classic song, “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch,” which makes me feel pretty sure this is just going to be any other typical Illumination movie.
This is the last Dr. Suess movie we’ll see coming from the Illumination studios, however. Warner Bros. Animation will be getting the rights to the Dr. Suess characters and will make an animated “The Cat in the Hat” adaptation, though there’s been no other information.
